VeloWino is a project from wine and bike lovers to all who love wind in the hair and shiny glasses. With us, you will visit the most interesting vineyards of Poland, you will get to know the thrilling stories of the winemakers and get some exercise on bike.
We will invite interesting guides, provide the transport of your luggage and rent a bike, if you need. For those who prefer to ride in their own tempo there is a self-guided option and tailored trips for all thirst of new wine experience.

Don’t worry about setting the route. Our guides have chosen scenic routes full of greenery and cultural attractions. Between vineyards – miles of beauty and happy experiences on bikes.
We book the nights
We book nights in vineyards or cozy BnBs and hotels in proximity. From the beginning to the end of the trip, we take care of the booking, arrival, breakfast, and spaces for the evening walk.
We carry the luggage
You must have wondered many times how much easier it would be to ride without heavy backpacks or panniers…Or how to transport wine bought at a vineyard? No longer a worry. We will take care of your luggage and emergency stops.

Kraków guide
A man of numerous passions and interests: he swims, dives, climbs, and much of his freetime is spent on a bike sadle or hiking in the mountains. He co-created the unique team of Crazyguides in Cracow, who revealed to the wider public the little jewel of socialist architecture in Cracow, the Nowa Huta district.
Our Experience
We have several years experience in wine tourism and certainly ages in bicycle tours. We connect both worlds with a verve of sommeliers and travellers. We graduated from international WSET courses and even enology on the Krakow Uni! Many of Polish winemakers are our direct friends and trip companions.
Our Support
VeloWino sets an assist car at your disposal, and, when needed, a bus with a bicycle trailer. We use the friendly infrastructure from vineyards: sheleters, tasting rooms for rainy days. Our nights will find you in comfortable double or single rooms. We share GPX files of our routes to let you travel light and precisely.

Get to know how VeloWino works!
Are VeloWino all guided tours?
Our trips can be booked with a guide (additional fee) or in the default self-guided option. All the travellers get GPX files with the route and set their own tempo. Guides always help you at wine tastings.
What is the difficulty of VeloWino routes?
We have both more and less difficult trips. For an intermediate bike rider all will be “surmountable”. We can cut the lenght of trips or give you a ride, should you have stamina issues on the way. We will gladly share our trip terrain profiles with you.
Can I travel outside of the VeloWino schedule?
We are flexible and we will adjust to your needs. Outside our scheduled trips, for groups of 5 persons, we can organize a tour individually. Do contact us!
Are meals included in the VeloWino price?
On our trips, the hotels serve breakfasts, which are included in the price. Tastings are supported with finger food, also in the price. The main meal of the day is left to be purchased by our guests at their suitable time. We will gladly indicate intersting dining options. Of course, if you book a dinner trip – you’re in for a great big meal. 🙂
Where does VeloWino start? What about arrival?
Our trips start in the largest cities of Poland such as Krakow or Wroclaw. Arrival is individual. For bigger groups we have an option to organize arrival for an additional fee. This will be minibus or van. Find all the information in trip details!
How to book a VeloWino tour?
You can book through our website or the website of our partners. We welcoome telephone and email reservations. Full confirmation of the booking is received together with a 30% payment and an account invoice.
